    Sandblasted Titanium Ring

    Offset Polished / Sandblasted Ring with Diagonal Groove. Flat titanium ring with a thin groove running diagonally through the ring. One half of the ring has a deep sandblast finish and the other one is polished.

    The ring is rounded on the inside (comfort fit).

    My husband and I absolutely love our rings! They're comfy! As scientists, we work with our hands a lot. The rings are tough enough to survive the things that we do. Most of the time we don't realise we have the rings on because that's how good the fit is around our fingers. Lightweight, and they look exactly like the pictures on the website. Shipping was timely despite the distance (we're from Singapore). Many thanks for the wonderful product!

    I am very pleased with this ring, lightweight and sandblast finish is great, does not feel like a nail file. Fit and finish is awesome and the comfort fit a big plus. Speedy production and received via US postal mail within 7 days.

    I had been having trouble with my original band (which was a simple pipe cut titanium band). It was rather sharp on the edges of the ring (which was uncomfortable when it rubbed against my other fingers), and didn't really fit me particularly well, despite the diligent work I did to ensure that I was ordering the correct size. (there is some question as to whether the seller's sizing was accurate). I was very attracted to the designs and options that Avant Garde had showing on their website. I sent them a few emails regarding some specific models, and questions about possible custom options, etc. I always got very fast responses, and even illustrations to help me visualize the options before I made my decision. My final ring is absolutely gorgeous, and exactly what I had hoped for (I had them roll the edges as I'd seen on one of their other rings, and adjusted the width a bit). Fit is perfect and the build quality of the ring is immediately visible. At this point, I could not be more pleased with the entire transaction.

    Ring Thickness

    How thick of a ring do you want? Do you like the feeling of a substantial ring on your finger or would you rather not know it's there? We offer three choices!

    Standard: 1.8mm- 2.3mm.
    We will select the best thickness, based on the style of the ring, width, finger size, etc, for a perfect balance between the look and comfort.

    Thinner: 1.4mm-1.9mm depending on the style, width of the ring, finger size, etc.
    We will make the ring as thin as possible, without sacrificing integrity and appearance.

    Thicker: 2.3mm-2.5mm.
    We will make the ring bulkier, but still keep the comfort of the ring in mind.

    All our titanium rings are Comfort Fit. The inside of the ring (against the skin) is rounded for comfort.

    Inlay Metals

    When choosing an inlaid titanium ring, it's important to understand how the ring is made.

    • All of our rings are made only with solid gold, silver or platinum inlays.
    • All inlays are at least 1/3 the depth of the ring.
    • We don't use shallow inlay channels, which lower the cost (less gold used) but compromise the integrity of the ring.
    • Only true karat gold (14K and 18K), platinum 950 and sterling silver is used.
    • We don't use 12K, 10K or 9K gold, or platinum 550 alloys, which are less expensive, but are subject to discoloration, tarnishing and can cause allergic reactions.
    • We don't make gold plated rings, which look similar to inlaid rings in the beginning, but fade fast as thin gold plating wears off.
    • All of our rings are hallmarked (stamped) with their titanium grade and karat mark, such as 18K, 14K, PL, etc.

    All engraving is done in capital letters. We can fit up to 36 characters, including spaces, inside an average size ring.

    Please note: Engraved rings will be charged a refurbishing fee of $20.00 if you wish to return or exchange the ring.
