    Domed Titanium Ring with Gold or Platinum Inlay

    Two Thin Grooves break the surface of the ring into three parts, the sides being of titanium and the middle a white or yellow gold inlay. Also available w/ silver or platinum inlay. The center is approximately twice as wide as each of the sides. As with all domed rings this one is very comfortable for everyday wear.

    The ring is rounded on the inside for a complete comfort fit. Available highly polished, with an absolute mirror-like finish, brushed, or a combination of the two for a more unique appearance.

    The seller is quick to reply to emails and fast delivery once it was manufactured. I do recommend getting the sizing set first as I went to Kay jewelers first for a sizing and that turned out to be 8 but by the seller here I am a 7.

    Two years ago, I ordered a rose gold inlaid ring as a wedding band: polished ring, brushed inlay, with inscription in band. It's a beautiful ring at a great price. I was happy with the purchase then, and I'm happy with it two years later. The ring has a distinctive look that draws compliments. The only drawback is the brushing on the rose gold wore off relatively quickly, and scratching/wear on that part of the band is visible. It still looks good; it just looks worn. You can send it away for refinishing, but it wears pretty quickly. You'd have to send it away regularly to maintain the look. Perhaps a less-pure (and more durable) gold inlay would wear better, but they only offer 18k rose gold.

    Service is impeccable as is the ring itself. I placed an order a couple months ago and then cancelled after a couple of days because the original company who made my wedding ring said they could do it in titanium. I developed allergic reaction to Tungsten. Avant Garde was very professional, no fuss just returned my payment quickly. Long story short, I had a bad experience with the other company and returned to AG to reorder a ring. Customer service is fast, courteous and knowledgeable. I payed for rush order and international shipping (4-5) days. Overall, they made and sent me the ring early. Looks better than the pictures. I recommend this company if you are looking for a titanium ring.

    Ring Thickness

    How thick of a ring do you want? Do you like the feeling of a substantial ring on your finger or would you rather not know it's there? We offer three choices!

    Standard: 1.8mm- 2.3mm.
    We will select the best thickness, based on the style of the ring, width, finger size, etc, for a perfect balance between the look and comfort.

    Thinner: 1.4mm-1.9mm depending on the style, width of the ring, finger size, etc.
    We will make the ring as thin as possible, without sacrificing integrity and appearance.

    Thicker: 2.3mm-2.5mm.
    We will make the ring bulkier, but still keep the comfort of the ring in mind.

    All our titanium rings are Comfort Fit. The inside of the ring (against the skin) is rounded for comfort.

    Inlay Metals

    When choosing an inlaid titanium ring, it's important to understand how the ring is made.

    • All of our rings are made only with solid gold, silver or platinum inlays.
    • All inlays are at least 1/3 the depth of the ring.
    • We don't use shallow inlay channels, which lower the cost (less gold used) but compromise the integrity of the ring.
    • Only true karat gold (14K and 18K), platinum 950 and sterling silver is used.
    • We don't use 12K, 10K or 9K gold, or platinum 550 alloys, which are less expensive, but are subject to discoloration, tarnishing and can cause allergic reactions.
    • We don't make gold plated rings, which look similar to inlaid rings in the beginning, but fade fast as thin gold plating wears off.
    • All of our rings are hallmarked (stamped) with their titanium grade and karat mark, such as 18K, 14K, PL, etc.

    All engraving is done in capital letters. We can fit up to 36 characters, including spaces, inside an average size ring.

    Please note: Engraved rings will be charged a refurbishing fee of $20.00 if you wish to return or exchange the ring.
