    Diamond Titanium Ring

    Domed Titanium Ring with Inlay and Tension Set Round Diamond.
    Tension setting is one of the most striking stone set designs. It permits a full side view of the diamond and also lets more light to reflect through the gem. When light enters the diamond from all angles it makes the stone more sparkly and live.
    Tension set ring holds the diamond on two sides with constant pressure. The entire ring acts as a spring. That's where the unique properties of titanium come to play. Due to the incredible strength and natural "memory" titanium ring holds the stone securely with less bulk (traditional gold or platinum tension rings use more metal to beef up the ring).

    Each tension set titanium ring is custom made for selected diamond size and finger size.

    This ring is available with round (brilliant cut) diamonds, including high quality White Diamonds, Black Diamonds, Fancy Color Diamonds and Moissanites. We also make this style ring with Sapphires, Rubies and other gemstones: Gemstone Set Tension Titanium Ring with Inlay

    Available with 14k White gold, 18k Yellow gold, 18k Rose gold, Platinum or Sterling silver inlay.

    The ring is shown with 3mm round stones.

    All diamonds are VS-2, G color, Very Good cut.
    All color diamonds are natural, color enhanced stones.

    The ring is rounded on the inside for a complete comfort fit.

    Available highly polished, with an absolute mirror-like finish, or brushed - also called satin finish.

    It has been going on at least 13 years since we had our wedding rings made. Still love them like the day we received them! Strong and sturdy they have dulled, and we have sent them back for polishing. Time to send them back again and get them cleaned up. I am sure they will come back like brand new!

    I ordered a custom ring from this site that is similar in style to this ring (mine is flat with beveled edges and a wider inlay). I had something specific in mind so I sketched out a rough idea of what I wanted and explained it to the fine folks at Avant Garde. A few days later the ring I had seen before only in my head had arrived at my door. It's absolutely perfect! I had a 4mm Moissanite stone set in the band, and it looks brilliant - no doubt the tension setting allows more light onto the stone giving it that extra bit of luster. Thank you, Avant Garde!     I used this ring as an engagement ring for my fiancée and she loves it. The tension set makes the diamond sparkle more than other settings, this and it's uniqueness catches the eyes of strangers (to the delight of my fiancée).     Ring Thickness

    How thick of a ring do you want? Do you like the feeling of a substantial ring on your finger or would you rather not know it's there? We offer three choices!

    Standard: 1.8mm- 2.3mm.
    We will select the best thickness, based on the style of the ring, width, finger size, etc, for a perfect balance between the look and comfort.

    Thinner: 1.4mm-1.9mm depending on the style, width of the ring, finger size, etc.
    We will make the ring as thin as possible, without sacrificing integrity and appearance.

    Thicker: 2.3mm-2.5mm.
    We will make the ring bulkier, but still keep the comfort of the ring in mind.

    All our titanium rings are Comfort Fit. The inside of the ring (against the skin) is rounded for comfort.

    Inlay Metals

    When choosing an inlaid titanium ring, it's important to understand how the ring is made.

    • All of our rings are made only with solid gold, silver or platinum inlays.
    • All inlays are at least 1/3 the depth of the ring.
    • We don't use shallow inlay channels, which lower the cost (less gold used) but compromise the integrity of the ring.
    • Only true karat gold (14K and 18K), platinum 950 and sterling silver is used.
    • We don't use 12K, 10K or 9K gold, or platinum 550 alloys, which are less expensive, but are subject to discoloration, tarnishing and can cause allergic reactions.
    • We don't make gold plated rings, which look similar to inlaid rings in the beginning, but fade fast as thin gold plating wears off.
    • All of our rings are hallmarked (stamped) with their titanium grade and karat mark, such as 18K, 14K, PL, etc.

    All engraving is done in capital letters. We can fit up to 36 characters, including spaces, inside an average size ring.
